Whether you're wanting to give aerial yoga a try or just wanting more time in the hammock to practice, we are offering some pop-up Saturday classes. The dates for the next two are Saturday, January 14th and 28th at 10:30 am.
Karen and Wendy are both certified aerial yoga instructors since 2019. They became interested in using the hammock as a way to both deepen stretches and do traditional yoga poses in new ways. The classes can be challenging, but most students leave commenting on how much fun they had.
Center of Gravity has 8 spots for aerial yoga, so pre-registration is recommended. And if you have to cancel, please try to do so more than an hour before class, so others can take the spot, or we can alert wait listers. If you are a no-show you will be charged for a class if we have students waiting and cannot fill the spot.
For comfort, please wear yoga pants, leggings, or long shorts and a shirt with sleeves (long or short). Please leave jewelry at home. It can rip the hammock if it catches. And avoid heavy perfumes or lotions right before class.
Besides the pop-up classes, there is a weekly aerial class on Thursday nights from 7-8 pm. Come and fly with us!
