A Studio for You

Find Your Center Here

Center of Gravity is conveniently located on Main Street in beautiful downtown Lexington.  As you walk up the stairs, leave your day behind and come find your class from one of over 20 weekly offerings of Yoga, Pilates, Barre, and Tai Chi.  Our teachers are happy to welcome new faces with a tour or a recommendation for classes.  Meet other friendly students and enjoy starting or deepening your yoga experience. We have mats and props available (at no cost) for the visiting drop-in.  There is no experience necessary for most of our classes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I just drop in to a class?

Absolutely!  We don’t have traditional memberships that lock you into a contract.  You can purchase a drop in class anytime, or for a better value, try a 3, 6, 10 or monthly unlimited pass.  We offer an automatic renewal for monthly unlimited, but you can cancel anytime.  See our pricing plans here.

 2.  I am not flexible/in shape.  Can I take classes at the studio?

The point of our classes is progress, never perfection.  So we want you to start at whatever point you are at and enjoy your own personal journey to a healthier and happier you.  Nowhere in yoga is there a prerequisite to have to touch your toes before you start.  And we have a wonderful, supportive community of people of all ages, shapes, and abilities to motivate you along the way.

3.  Do you have props to borrow at the studio?

Yes, if you are visiting or just don’t own a mat or props, we have everything you need at the studio.  Just bring yourself and we’ll set you up.

4.  I am new to group classes.  What should I wear?

Being able to move freely and be comfortable is the goal.  Clothes that have some stretch and breathe are best.  Avoid oversized shirts and baggy shorts that may bunch up during postures like downward facing dog.  Specifically for aerial yoga, please try to wear a shirt with sleeves (short or long) and avoid jewelry that may rip the aerial silks.

5.  Should I do anything before my first visit?

We welcome you to create an account here or download the Fit by Wix app below and sign up.  From there you can purchase a pass or sign up for classes from anywhere.  You can also sign our liability waiver here, which should be completed before your first class.  However, everything can also be done at the studio.  Please give yourself about 20 minutes before your first class to sign up.

6.  What forms of payment do you accept?

As a small business, we love to avoid merchant fees for credit cards if you can pay by cash or check.  However, we always welcome debit and credit card purchases and accept Apple Pay.
