Finding Joy in the Midst of Busy-ness

Ever feel like you are booked from the time you open your eyes until the time you drag yourself back to bed each night? Sometimes I find myself going to the same place up to four times a day moving children around from school to activities to home. Meals might be rushed or eaten while trying to catch up on emails. And time to go out and have a fun social evening? What's that??

If you feel short on time, it may be that you are not enjoying the activities that are filling up your schedule. The first things to “go” when our schedules get busy and stressful is our own self-care or activities that bring us joy, like our yoga practice.

You will take home three time-saving yoga sequences that can be done quickly when you are short on time, as well as shorter (5-10 minute “yoga breaks”) that you can do any time, anywhere. Using coaching exercises and guided visualizations, we will examine how we currently spend our time, as well as how to prioritize those things that bring us joy and enhance our well-being.

This workshop is on Saturday, February 4th from 10:30-12:30 with a break and from 2:00-4:00 pm. Bring your lunch or go home or out for a break.

The price for the workshop is $60 if you register and pay by Janaury 27th. After that, the price is $75. Take home materials will be provided, but you may want to bring a journal or notebook and something to write with. Register here or on the Fit by Wix app.
