Memorial Day Closure: Preparing for a Fresh Start with Fitness Classes

As Memorial Day approaches, our studio will be closed on Monday to honor the holiday and to complete an important reorganization. This pause allows us to prepare for the launch of new fitness classes, designed to bring fresh energy and innovative workouts to our community. Taking time to refresh the studio space and update our offerings means we can provide a better experience for everyone who walks through our door.
This break is a small but important step in making sure everything is ready for a smooth and exciting start.
How We’re Reorganizing the Studio
To support the new classes, we are making thoughtful changes to the studio layout and equipment. The reorganization focuses on creating a welcoming, open space that encourages movement and safety.
Here’s what we’re doing:
Organizing props to maximize floor space
Consolidating to one shelving unit that will contain the yoga props. Everyone who has been keeping a personal mat at the studio needs to begin taking their mats home with them. If bringing a mat for class is a problem because of walking or navigating stairs with a mat, we still have studio mats for your use.
Adding a weight rack and several spin bikes
Adding two mirrors on the wall with the windows. We will also add curtains on that wall to cover mirrors when not needed.
New floor mats and equipment in the "green room" for personal training
Decluttering and organizing the audio/visual equipment for Zoom classes.
These changes will make it easier for instructors to guide classes and for participants to move freely. The studio will feel more spacious and inviting, helping everyone get the most out of their classes and workouts.
Starting in June, the fitness classes will start running on a regular schedule. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Variety in workouts that target different muscle groups and movement patterns
Classes led by experienced instructors who will offer modifications and tips
A supportive community atmosphere where members encourage each other
Opportunities to track progress and set personal fitness goals
Flexible class times to fit your lifestyle, including early morning, afternoon, and Saturday options
We encourage everyone to try a class, even if you are new to fitness or have specific physical limitations. The adaptable nature of these classes means you can work at your own pace and gradually build strength and flexibility.
Our team is here to support you with advice and resources to keep your fitness journey on track. If you purchase a monthly unlimited pass this summer, feel free to book a free 20-30 minute session with one of our teachers to talk about any new classes you're interested in. We can go over your questions and get you comfortable to try a new routine.
