Kristen’s Pilates classes focus on the founding principles of Pilates. Students work to improve muscle control, coordination, strength, flexibility, posture, and endurance through a series of mat based exercises. The students are enabled, both physically and mentally, to create a balanced body through movement. The use of props such as Theraband and small balls are incorporated for additional resistance and training. All levels are accommodated, with modifications provided for the beginning student and advanced movements for the experienced student. The goal is the same –a properly trained, aligned, balanced body.
