Full Moon Yoga

Service Description

Full moon yoga usually takes place the day before the actual full moon (so the moonrise is earlier). We meet at the Children's discovery trail parking area, on Golf Course Road (just South of the Bridge on Rt. 11), take a wagon ride up the hill to Jefferson Point, and then enjoy an hour of yoga as the moon rises over the Blue ridge and the sun sets over the Alleghany Mountains. There is a panoramic view of southern Rockbridge County, occasional deer, and some regular fireflies and mosquitoes. Bring walking shoes, a mat or towel, water, and maybe some bug spray. Payment is either by class pass, or you can bring $10 cash/check to class.
