Exercise balls, resistance tubing and fun music will be employed to create an overall body workout.

Thursdays

Yin Yoga • 10:30-11:45 am • John Kortmulder

Yin Style yoga  Postures are held longer than in more active yoga classes, long enough to appreciate breath inside the posture, and the pace between poses is slower. Poses are held long enough to feel breath moving inside our joint spaces, along our muscles and into our connective tissue, relaxing the nervous system. The holds are not a set amount of time it might be 6 breaths, or 60 breaths.  Yin style yoga includes slow or gentle movement in and out of a pose.
